South Arm, Tasmania!
The beautiful Aurora in all her glory! Such an incredible experience to see. Beams seen with the naked eye danced across the sky on the edge of this sea cliff. A moment to never forget

Happy Australia Day everyone!
Many things can define Australia and this incredible land we are so blessed to have. But nothing seems to be more Aussie than a gorgeous baby Joey and their mother just relaxing in the sun :)

Rush Hour at Sunset! The Louvre Museum. Paris, France.

The worlds largest art museum dominates the scene in this beautiful sunset shot I took last week in Paris. It was truly spectacular to see the museum too, with lots of history itself between its stages of being built and used by different French kings. It now houses over 35,000 artefacts along with the most famous painting in the world, the one and only Mona Lisa painting!
The architecture and history of this city is truly amazing I recommend everyone to go see it if you have not already. Have a great week ahead folks.

Nugget Point Lighthouse Part 2 , The Catlins, South Island NZ

My last post for 2016!
What an incredible night this was. The Milky Way bright and beautiful with even a small Aurora glow coming and going as the night went on:) By 3am the core was in the perfect spot to shoot this alignment you see before you. There is only a handful of weeks in the year to do this so I was very blessed to shoot it at such a good time.

I just wanted to quickly add that I appreciate all the lovely support I have had over this year and previous years with my photography. It means the world to me, it really does! So thank you.
I hope everyone finishes off the year with a bang and all the best for 2017! Bring it on! I got a few new destinations to shoot and a new camera to buy. At last, no more noisy night shots:) Peace guys

En route to Aoraki / Mount Cook!

The incredible drive and views along the way to New Zealand's highest peak are simply out of this world incredible! A popular pull over spot is this one here at peters lookout, with a direct view of Mt Cook and its impressive height of 12,218 feet! You get to view all this whilst taking in the picturesque blue and turquoise colours that emerge out of the glacial fed Lake Pukaki. The 'glacial flour' as its so named shines and reflects in the sun as you drive along the winding roads. I cannot recommend this particular drive enough! It was definitely one of the highlights of my NZ adventures and I cannot wait to return soon.

Tonights Supermoon !

The full moon today was the closest it's been to Earth since 1948. It was also a whopping 14% closer to Earth which made it appear to be so much bigger and brighter. We will not see another occasion like this until 2034. I hope some of you guys managed to get out there and see it. We had a lot of cloud where I was tonight and although it cleared up and I photographed it fully away from all cloud and in much finer detail. I preferred the look and character the moon had here in this shot emerging from behind the clouds :)

Lake Louise, Banff National Park, CANADA!

There are so few words I can even try write about to describe this magnificent place. Taken from the dictionary definition of Serenity, you get a few meanings, one is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. To be that fits just fine :) I experienced all these things on one crispy and misty morning down by the lake.

Please feel free to like and Share! Enjoy the rest of the weekend guys!

Cloud Capped. Burleigh QLD Australia.

Wow, last weeks sunset delivered something a little different. Strong winds throughout the afternoon and some thick cloud out to sea at sunset meant I was not sure what the conditions would bring. I thought I would head down anyway and see what I could capture. I am glad I did:) To my amazement behind me as the sun set in the opposite direction through the clouds it pushed its strong light through and out to sea through a gap. The result was a reverse sunset which brought stunning bright colours deep within the cloud you see before you to appear. It seemed to last forever :) I braved the winds and climbed up high and balanced my broken tripod to come up with this shot so pretty stoked.

To any photographers seeing this, an added bonus to the story was that to my disappointment I shot this entire shoot in low res jpeg only which never happens haha. I was so angry with myself! I was mucking around at home and forget to change it back to RAW. I was very lucky this needed such subtle changes in post. All the best guys.
Please Share this post if you want it really helps me out.

AFTERGLOW. Burleigh Heads, QLD Australia!

Wow what an incredible sunset tonight was! It was just everywhere! Almost a full panorama of dancing colours. Some photographers were calling it sunset of the year, I would certainly put it up there with some of the best. I rushed on down there with my head out the window whilst driving trying to predict where to go haha. I ran down to the waters edge only to get my new shoes soaked and my 2nd tripod leg broken but hey...! got the shot I was after from a different angle to the main sky others saw.

Please like and share if you enjoyed. Have a great week folks
