How much of our lives do we spend waiting for life to start?
One day, when things are easier.
One day, when I can afford to buy myself the freedom to do it later.
When I own the house.
When I’m in the relationship.
When I have the baby.
When everything finally falls into place.
The funny thing about that is life was happening while you wait. Eventually you realise there was never going to be a perfect moment it was all going to begin.
While you’re busy building your dream life, maybe notice that you’ve already built it.
This is life.
The rented house.
The uncertain future.
The things we are still working towards, counts too.
So string the festoon lights, make it your own. You can give those things to yourself and build a life that’s yours, now. ✨

You may not be able to fly to Bali every week, but you can get yourself some bamboo fence screen from Bunnings, paint it white and cover your fences to create easy backyard resort vibes. Natural bamboo is gorgeous, but painting it white makes the plants pop! Swipe across to see the two different types of bamboo screen and how it turned out.

Paint colour is dulux natural white
The thinner bamboo is attached with clear cable ties and fully removable. Perfect for rentals.
The thicker bamboo in the second space is held up with screws attached to an exisiting wooden fence.
