I've just come home from five days at a mastermind retreat in Kingscliff, and I'm still soaking it all in.
What's left the biggest imprint isn't any one session or activity. It's how much we all looked after each other. The kindness and generosity, and the way space was held when the tears came. All those little extra touches that say I see you, I've got you.
When you've been quietly carrying frustration or hurt or disappointment, and you finally find yourself in a container safe enough to put it all down, to share openly, to be received with so much graciousness, it's deeply healing.
For anyone curious about what a retreat like this actually looks like, here's a peek at how the days flowed.
We opened with a Biddy Tarot guided experience to set our intentions for the week.
Then a big speed round, catching up on everyone's businesses, where we are, what we're navigating, what we're celebrating.
From there, we moved into Q and A group sessions where we could bring our real challenges to the room and get honest, generous input.
Each session had a facilitator and a timekeeper, which made such a difference.
We also wove in intentional rest. A spa day, long walks on the beach, and beautiful lunches and dinners. Time to integrate everything we were talking about, rather than racing from session to session.
I think we underestimate how much we need this. Not just rest, not just learning, but the experience of being truly received by other women who are walking a similar path.
If you've been running on empty lately, this is your nudge to find your people. The ones who'll hold space for you when you need it, and who make you feel safe enough to put it down.
It changes everything.
