Our precious little girl.

It has been a hugggee 8 months trying to get to the bottom of your seizures. Mummy and daddy prayed it was just something you would grow out of. Because these seizures are terrifying and take such a toll on your little body and your brain and you realllyy don’t like being in hospital every 2 weeks with infections and blood tests.

But 2 weeks ago we were given a diagnosis... one we wish we could wake up from because knowing what you may face in your life, is almost unbearable.

Dravet syndrome

You are just the most insanely beautiful human, inside and out.. and you always will be. And we never want to see you trapped inside a muddled brain.
We want you to always smile and be full of love and laughter.

We are going to do every fu***ng thing possible to make sure you have the best life possible and never ever tell you how unfair life is. You will only know joy and love.

We are very hopeful that we can get on top of this with help from so many families before you guiding us and new gene therapies coming into play.

We will be strong for you and we will find a cure. And until then, you will live the best life ever with parents and family and friends who simply adore you.

We will fight til the ends of the earth for you and never give up.

We love you and your brother sooo fu***ng much. Don’t ever change 😭❤️

I hope everyone has had the most magical long weekend filled with all of life’s most precious gifts.

Our son Nelson Is at the age now where he could really get into the Easter spirit, we made lots of diys and did some baking in the lead up and then left out carrots and made sure the Easter bunny left some chocolates and dirty bunny prints for that extra magic.

This is what I feel when I get to witness your love through my lens.

This caption gig is hard. Finding cute quotes is proving difficult and I am not some wise old woman who can just whip em out. 😂

I know a freaking gorgeous, loving and incredible family when I see one and it literally gives me goose bumps.

Almost 7 months have flown by and her precious smile and giggle just lights all out lives. She is her brothers biggest fan girl and he just is smitten with her too, waking up every morning to him Saying “hello angel” just melts our hearts.

Megy, you are the absolute strongest person I know and an inspiration and a hero. I know that you have no choice but to do everything you can to remain here on earth but it doesn’t change those facts that you are strong and loved and tremendous.

During my maternity leave, this precious girl become a big sister to not only 1, but 2 little sisters.

I know for a fact that this season in her mummy’s life was one of such overwhelming joy 🌈

But I also know that this time can be such an emotional time as you begin to come to terms with the fact that it will no longer be just the two of you. And you know that your once baby is no longer that. And they are going to continuing growing before your eyes whilst your world is swept up in the newborn storm.
You want to soak up every last second together, reminisce and imprint every precious memory you have had so far into your heart.

I think this is such a sacred time in a parents journey and love nothing more than to capture your love story 💫
