For almost 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of calling Ila one of my closest friends. If there’s one thing I know about her, it’s this… when she gives her heart to something, she gives it everything. She doesn’t quit, she doesn’t cut corners, and she never stops caring.
What she’s created at Safe Souls Farm Animal Sanctuary is so much more than an animal sanctuary. It’s a safe haven, a safe forever home, and a place where rescue animals are finally able to exhale.
Every rescued farm animal and rescue animal that Ila welcomes into her sanctuary is adopted with a lifelong commitment. They are never rehomed or adopted back out. Once they arrive, they’re home. They’re safe. They’re loved for the rest of their lives.
The compassion, dedication and unconditional love Ila pours into every animal is something I’ll always admire. She works tirelessly to ensure every life in her care is healthy, protected, and surrounded by kindness. Safe Souls Farm Animal Sanctuary truly lives up to its name.
