I’m so lucky to work in the profession that I’m in! Sure at previous jobs I got to meet clients and get to know them but never really connect with them. When you photograph them, you must find out their story, what they’re all about, who they are. Once I figure out at least one of those things about them I can capture them knowing what the photographs will at least tell one of their stories and reflect who they really are. In this photoshoot I achieved that and much more! I made this mum cry by just asking her to look at them, see how wonderful they are and what an amazing job she’s doing raising her two super talented kids! I always say that once you become a parent your children become your resume, they ultimately embody the work and time you invest in them and let me tell you this woman has no idea what an awesome job she is doing! She might not see it because of all the stress and responsibilities she has been dealing with. But she will, one day it will hit her like a ton of bricks, she was more than what they needed, more than just a woman! She is a mother, a nurturer and last but not least, her children’s first and most important teacher! I loved this shoot so much and Wow was it hard just to pick a few good ones for this post!
