Some photographs are impossible to explain because the chances of it all coming together are so slim. This is one of those photos for me and probably my favourite image Iโ€™ve captured this year. This photograph beautifully represents the circle of life and showcases the journey that this hatchling is going to go through. I absolutely adore this little guy striving towards freedom in the ocean from a baby turtle release at Fingal a couple of weeks ago. I took heaps of photos with so many I could share but this little guy was worth sharing first. Moving in the right direction is a great thing.

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Curtis Falls circuit is a lush rainforest hike in Tamborine National Park, Queensland. The track begins in wet eucalyptus forest growing beneath towering flooded gumtrees and merges into rainforest before reaching the rockpool and waterfall. The surrounding basalt rock face and pool provide a rich habitat for fish, eels, glow-worms and platypus. ๐Ÿ’ฆโ›ฐโฃ
