There’s something so special about watching a family grow through my lens. 🤍 
 
I first met these two when I photographed their maternity session, waiting to become parents for the very first time. 
 
Then I got to capture their first baby… and now, here we are again, only this time as a beautiful family of four.  🌿
 
One of my favourite parts of this job is realising that somewhere along the way, you stop feeling like “clients” and start feeling like familiar faces I’m genuinely so excited to see again. 
 
Watching your babies arrive, watching you become parents, and then watching your family grow through all of its different seasons is such a privilege. 
 
Thank you for continuing to invite me back into your story. It means more than you probably realise. 🤍

A little boy arriving on a day associated with strength, leadership, abundance and infinite possibility. 
 
But the most powerful part of his story is his mama. 
 
The strength it took to bring him earthside is something I’ll never forget. 
 
A powerful little soul, born from one incredibly powerful woman. 🤍

I knew maternal-assisted C-sections existed, but I’d never actually seen one until this moment.  
And wow… what an experience to photograph. 🤍 
 
Watching this mama get gloved up, reach down and be part of bringing her own baby earthside was something pretty special. 
 
I’ve photographed C-sections before, but this felt different. Instead of waiting for her baby to be brought up to her, she was able to be actively involved in those first moments of her baby being born, being completely guided and supported by her medical team the entire time. 
 
There can still be connection and there can still be choices. 
 
What a beautiful thing to be able to document. 🤍 
 
Did you know this could be an option during a Caesarean? 
 
Save or send this to a mama who might want to ask her maternity team about the options available for her own birth. 🤍 
 
Of course, every birth and hospital is different, and maternal-assisted Caesareans won’t be suitable or available for everyone. This is something to chat about with your own maternity care team if it interests you.

These beautiful twin girls entered the world by Caesarean birth, and their first newborn checks left everyone smiling..

Nine months together and they arrived in perfect sync!
