Platypus "hunting" was one of the best activity we had in Cairns. Platypus are very shy and are sensitive to noise. They swim underwater with their eyes closed and when they resurface, it's about time to snap a photo!

The very first thing we did a day after I arrived in Cairns was to visit Nandroya Falls. It was a total of 6km walk from the main entrance to the breathtaking Nandroya Falls (vice-versa). It was an amazing and definitely one of the most memorable experience I ever had. Big shoutout to Sony Alpha AU & NZ and World Photo Adventures for making this happen. 🤍

Before my flight back to GC, we went to a remote location where wallabies can be seen. Never been this close before. Thanks to Frazer Leal Photography and World Photo Adventures for this wonderful experience with the little fellas.
