Quick community update: Marine Parade is currently closed between the Lands End Bridge at Biggera Creek and Burrows Street. At least three Norfolk pines have fallen across the road. Access to the area remains available via Morala Avenue and Oxley Drive via Ocean & Broadwater Streets, Limetree Parade and Lae Drive.

The Bayview St. 7-Eleven in Runaway Bay is now open and has just received a delivery of gas, while our neighbors at White Lotus Cafe on Broadwater Street are open for coffee.

Several traffic lights in the area are still out, and a flood watch remains in effect for Biggera Creek — if it's flooded, forget it!

If anyone needs a passport photo, headshot, or just a cup of tea and a phone recharge, we are fully operational and open! 😊
