🇦🇺⛽ NEW OIL REFINERY PROPOSED FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA ⛽🇦🇺
The Federal Government is expected to announce plans for a feasibility study into building a new oil refinery in Western Australia. If approved, it would be the FIRST NEW OIL REFINERY BUILT IN AUSTRALIA IN DECADES.
Supporters believe expanding Australia's refining capacity could strengthen FUEL SECURITY, reduce reliance on imported fuel, and improve preparedness for global supply disruptions.
Others say the proposal should be carefully assessed to ensure it is ECONOMICALLY VIABLE, ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE, and delivers value for Australian taxpayers.
