THE KING IS RETURNING NEXT YEAR! I am so excited I might p*e my pants!
In case you missed the news, the worlds tallest, fastest and longest retired moto gp champion themed roller coaster will be returning next year, with a new name, new trains and new immersive theming!
As everyone is probably well aware, Mick Doohan’s Motocoaster was a long time favourite of mine, ranking in the top 460 coasters I’ve ever ridden!
Are you as excited as I am about this BRAND NEW attraction coming in 2027?!

Took my camera on a 200ft swing to shoot some fireworks!
If we weren’t already enjoying the Ekka enough, the awesome folks from FJF Amusements allowed us to take the camera up on Skyflyer XXL during the final 2 nights of fireworks!
Although it was much more difficult than I anticipated, I’m pretty stoked with the shots I was able to get, and I’ve already got tons of ideas for next year.
In the meantime I’m looking into trips to the Adelaide Royal Show and/or the Melbourne Royal Show.

JUST FELL TO MY KNEES IN DOLLAR GENERAL 🥀🥀🥀
Sorry Cedar Point regulars but nobody should have a fast pass every time they visit, that literally defeats the purpose of the entire system.
While I think many of us are hopeful this is a step to limit fast lane numbers, I think it’s equally likely Six Flags have learned from their fans purchasing $300 strips of scrap metal and have identified a market.

Did you see your favourite ride? Which ones should I include in part 2?
Yesterday we finally made the trip up to check out Ekka | Royal Queensland Show for the first time ever, after years of saying “we really should go this year”.
In some ways it was actually far better than shooting at many theme parks, and I think I’ll definitely shoot more travelling rides in the future.

Is there a worse mix than a coaster enthusiast who loves Pokemon? At this point I’m not sure if I’ve had more laps around DC Rivals or the Elite 4.
It’s pretty wild that there’s no full scale theme park attractions themed to the Pokemon franchise, although Universal do have a few things on the way in the next few years I still only expect it scratch the surface of what’s possible.
