Back in Belgium, in the city, we could never see as many stars as I can from my garden here.

I still remember the first time I travelled to Australia at 19 years old and looking up and seeing the sky covered in countless little dots. It felt magical ! And now, at 31, still feels just as magical ✨

Motherhood and maternity are, and always have been, my greatest muse.

There is something sacred about capturing a mother — not just as she is seen by others, but as she truly is : nurturing, powerful, tender, and infinitely full of love.

When I photograph a mother, my goal is simple but profound: to put her in the frame.

To document not just how she looks, but how she feels.
The way her hands cradle a growing belly. The way her eyes light up when she looks at her child. The way love flows from her in every stolen, fleeting moment.

Photography, for me, is a way to translate emotion into something tangible.

It’s about freezing a feeling — the warmth, the connection, the quiet strength — into an image that she and her children will treasure forever.
These are not just portraits; they are pieces of her story.

They are memories of how she nurtured, how she loved, and how she lived in the small, precious moments that pass by too quickly.

To every mother who steps in front of my lens :

You are art.
You are legacy.
You are love made visible.

This is why I do what I do. This is why motherhood and maternity will forever be my muse.
