5 reasons to choose an outdoor photoshoot location

As much as I love studio photography (which has its pros too), absolutely nothing beats outdoor photography for me. Come rain or shine, the lighting, the variety, the colours, the adventure - no two sessions are alike and genuine memories are made.

Here are my list of five reasons why you should choose an outdoor photo session for your family!

The kids love it - Kids love an adventure, they love to explore and play.

The Variety - No plain backgrounds here! A beautiful beach could be your theme, a magical forest, a wild open field, a country road, a city street, the possibilities are endless.

Genuine Memories made - Natural moments unfold, unplanned photographs are taken and special memories are made.

Passing seasons, capturing this moment in time - Depending on the season and time of day, each session will have a completely different feel, bring you right back to that moment in time.

No two session are the same - I love how individual these sessions become, the adventures and natural moments that unfold and showing families how uniquely wonderful they are.

Professional photos don't always have to be extremely serious, do you agree?

Make sure you aren’t trying to be something you’re not and that means wear clothes that fit you, suit you and that you feel comfortable in. You’ll feel (and look) really uncomfortable and end up disappointed with your photos.

Your looks, energy and elements should match you and how you want your business to be perceived. So it is important to choose wisely your elements, colours and outfits for your photoshoot.

Such an honour to capture these moments for a special friend of mine! It was a very powerful photoshoot, that I am, once again, very grateful to have been part of.

I guess when we connect with a pregnant woman, we start to realise the power within women, and that’s what I love about photography and storytelling. We tell a visual story that translates into a feeling, a vibe, a moment.

As a woman, I know that we are so strong and powerful! We are capable of so many things - make sure you never forget that. If you are in need of self-motivation, just take this as a sign to love yourself and to own your power. ✨

Oli was not very excited to be photographed, but when she started playing with daddy João everything became lighter and fun. She just melted my heart ✨🌙

Meet my favourite space of all times: where I spend hours and hours dedicating all my love to the photo editing process, such a big part of the final result.

This is where the imagination and creativity flow, and to be honest, sometimes the hours pass without even noticing it. It's amazing to work with what we love!

Aromatic candles and my cup of coffee are my best friends at these moments.

This photoshoot was very special for everyone involved.

Baby Enzo was born during the pandemic in Australia, and because of the COVID pandemic / lockdown, his Brazilian grandparents were only able to meet this little guy when he was 3 months old.

Can you imagine the emotion of that moment of the reunion?

Behind the lenses, my eyes didn’t stop watering and my heart was full of love. Such a blessing to be able to capture moments like these.
