When I asked Alana how she was feeling during the pregnancy and what she was visualising for the photoshoot, she confessed that her second pregnancy was being chaotic with lots of hospital appointments.

She contacted me in the first week of January, when the weather was crazy rough and windy. She was waiting for the weather to clear but instead she just thought that weather was perfect to get some windy shots with lots of movement, to represent that crazy time.

Of course I fell in love with her straight way 😅🤎

I just love this poetic and artistic way that photos can translate emotions and feelings.

On the day of our sunrise session it wasn’t windy at all and I just thought how we are going to make this windy?!

The answer, with lots of movements and dancing ✨

Hey mamas, if you are planning to have your session booked for the following months, please be quick, spots are filling up really fast til December ✨

The best time to schedule your maternity session, usually is around 28 to 34 weeks. Once you’ve entered your third trimester, your belly begins to develop more of a nice round shape that’s perfect for showing off in photos 🤎

Also if are worried about what to wear in your session, relax. I got you 🥰 I have a collection of dresses and duster, that are available for you. You can also come to my studio and try them on to see which ones you liked the most 🤎

On the 10th of June, at 8:29am sent me a message saying that water had been broken. Bubba was ready to come eathside, even with the due date being the 28th of the month. I had my cameras and lenses packed and it was ready to go anytime. In about 12 hours later updated me that Jess's surges had started. When it was 12:21 am on the 11th I was heading home, she was 5cm dilated 🥰

When I got there, the kids were sleeping and Nathan, her partner, was in the living room with her. Jess was there, all beautiful with her glowing and round belly sitting on the couch. A few hours there and the surges didn't seem to have progressed, so suggested both Jess and Nathan to go to the room to cudle and connect with that moment.
The oxytocin was in the air and a few minutes later Jess was 9cm dilated. She went straight to the the birth pool, the water was nice and warm. By that time Olive and Henry were already awake and they were sitting close to their mom giving all their love, cuddles and support. It was so beautiful to see their connection ❤️

At 4am bubba was born: "It's a boy, it's a boy". Everyone was so surprised and happy.
It didn't took long for the kids to take their pajamas off and jump in the pool to meet their newborn brother. Olive didn't take her loving eyes off her brother the whole time. Henry didn't stop playing with his little hands. And I just couldn't stop feeling grateful for what I was witnessing.

Everyone made their way to the bedroom together and the sun was rising at the window. His very first sunrise in his first hour earthside, the family of 6 has now a new light.

LIfe is a bliss ✨
