ANGST I ~ the body remembers before the mind admits

There’s a moment ~
somewhere between breath and breaking ~
where everything turns quiet.

Not peaceful.
Just… muted.
Like the world has slipped underwater
and you’re left pressing your thoughts against glass,
watching yourself from the other side.

This is what tension looks like when it has nowhere to go.

When it lives in the jaw, the shoulders, the silence.
When it fogs the air between who you are
and who you’re trying to be.

Held. Contained. Unspoken.

Angst doesn’t always scream.
Sometimes it condenses ~
slow, heavy, impossible to ignore.

This is ANGST.

Moreton Island.

Salt-heavy air. Wind against skin.
The horizon pulled tight like a held breath.

Before the ocean breaks ~
it claims you.

Not gently. Not softly.
But in undertow and instinct, in the quiet violence of water that knows your name.

She meets it there ~
half anchored, half taken ~
where tide and body blur into one relentless rhythm.

This is not stillness.
This is surrender sharpened by sea.

Only light, heat, and something unspoken moving through it.

Stripped of everything familiar, what remains is instinct ~
raw, unobserved, and entirely its own.

This series explores presence without performance.
A study of form, texture, and stillness in a landscape that offers nothing…and takes everything.

Captured on the shifting dunes of Moreton Island ~ where the horizon feels endless and time dissolves into silence.

Working with on this was effortless ~ a rare kind of creative trust that allowed the work to unfold naturally, without force.
