It was a pleasure to film Megan and Johno's wedding day; such a great down to earth couple! Lots of friends and family celebrating their special day. The reason I love filming weddings is because they are all so different - it is so much fun capturing the personalities of the bride and groom; the fun and the romance.

Preparations were at the Akama Resort, Hervey Bay and the ceremony was held at the Botanical Gardens.
We then headed off to the Torquay Jetty and the Marina for some beautiful moments...
The reception was held at the Hervey Bay Boat Club.

Wedding videos...WHAT TO LOOK FOR:

1. Does it have a story?
This is the most important one :)
There are many videos out there with pretty footage, but often lacking the story of the day and the personalities of the bride and groom. Look for someone who tells the story of your day. One of the greatest compliments we receive often is this: 'you really captured us and the day as it was'

2. Is the soundtrack licensed?
Copyright is important when it comes to music. Any music used in the public domain and used commercially needs to be copyrighted. We buy the rights to use the music on any of our wedding films. As a business, we do not engage in copyright infringement.

3. Is it all slow motion?
Slow motion is like salt and pepper in a meal. Used sparingly, slow motion really does add to the story. When it is overdone, impact and the story is lost because the major thing is slo-mo, which is like making salt and pepper the main thing.

4. Do you get personalised service?
So often we hear of 'grumpy' videographers filming a couple's day (which is kinda hard to imagine). Find a person who will invest in you as a couple beforehand and get to know you, as well as finding out what is so important to capture on your wedding day...
