Yesterday was World Photography Day and in typical Maria fashion... I didn't post about it 🤦🏾‍♀️😆

I made these yesterday and didn't get around to posting.

So better late than never right? 😝

I feel so blessed to do something I love whole heartedly. For over 7 years I have passionately run my business and captured moments for many beautiful families, mother's, father's, children, grandparent's.

I'm honoured to have been there documenting a little part of their story.

The trust clients put in my hands to create beautiful photographic art of their families and their most precious moments and milestones means so much to me.

These are only a small number of photos I found and put together. But there are so many more I would have loved to share.

It's so nice to look back on just a few of the photos I've taken over the years. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who has ever trusted me and my camera.

I can't wait to capture more families this year and for many years to come. 🥰

I'm making lots of changes behind the scenes and though it's a lot of work it will eventually all come together (at least I hope so 🤞😆).

As I've mentioned before I want to create more videos for this social media account. Share more behind the scenes etc but I also want to share the real side of things because by nature that's just who I am. I'm not usually scared to show the good, the bad and the ugly.

I've created some videos but keep holding back from sharing. I guess a mix of not knowing if it's something people will care about and not knowing what the people currently following this account want to hear or know about.

So hit me with it. What things do you want to hear about? What things interest you? Behind the scenes stuff? Running a photography business? Small business in general, mum life and juggling all the things, camera gear, settings, lenses etc. Something else?

I think this is the first time I've done this. Where I share more than 1 photos of a photoshoot.

Thought I'd start sharing a collection of photos from current and past shoots to show you guys what it looks like.

I love seeing this with other photographers so thought I'd try it out.

Why have I only ever shared 1, max 2 photos in one post of a client session??? To be honest cause I'm lazy like that 🤣

Welcome to my new series... it's called watch Maria attempt to become a content creator... jokes. Not really.

I'm a photographer not a content creator so it's proving very difficult to create video of myself because I always forget to take videos.. it simply doesn't come naturally to me... but here I am and I'm going to try.

I'm a photo girl ok! Shoot me.

As you can see from this example reel I'm super awkward... you're in for a treat watching me struggle in future videos. 🤪

If you don't like bad words I swear at the end of this very short video.. you've been warned. 🤷‍♀️

Beautiful in-home newborn sessions are so special.

Not everyone wants a studio session, so this is the perfect option to have those precious first days captured in the comfort of your own home.

I bring everything, you just enjoy and relax 🥰🥰😍😍

Oh boy... it's been a minute haha.

No excuses except 3 weeks of school holidays as well as focusing on a lot of backend stuff as I split my business into two and create a dedicated space for my commercial work to be showcased on. A big decision but a necessary one for the growth of my business.

But honestly school holidays has really thrown me as always.

I have still been doing shoot here and there, though less than usual as I am one person and at times it gets a lot.

But back to it and taking on bookings for the rest of 2026! So if you're wanting a shoot, book it in! It's coming into that crazy time of year and I can only take on so many sessions each month 😃
