This little town won't be the same without the Cartela. They are preparing her to relocate to Battery Point, ironically that is where she was built in 1912. I hope she finds her way back here again.

Photos with meaning, to be cherished.
This is my 92 year old grandmothers Victorian nightgown, with a beautiful vintage peignoir.
She gifted a few nightgowns to me and I've always had a little session in mind, when Alice asked if I'd come back after shooting a gorgeous elopement at her bnb, The Songbird, I knew it would be special for Daisy and I. This shack is visually stunning, luxurious and cosy. Girly vintage vibes for this old soul, where we danced, snacked on berries and read The Velveteen Rabbit for the 100th time.
Now Daisy will have something to remember in these precious images, if the nighties don't stand the test of time. Which I am sure they will. Garments were just made to last from times gone by.

Daisies requested mini session on our girls weekend on Bruny Island.
I couldn't get her out of the tub for hours. She sang, she splashed and we watched the sunset over the ocean whilst soaking in our warm little hot tub. I did promise her a night filled with mermaids and selkie magic, and that's what we had at the delightful Songbird.
Normally I wouldn't do a whole post on one moment as I love visual storytelling, but I'll be able to look back at her joy, her ability to live in the moment and one of her most talked of winter memories. And of course, her missing front teeth, it's too sweet.

A little adventure with my gal.
On our way to Songbird for a mermaid weekend of eating dark chocolate, raspberries, bubble bath on the balcony and the pretty feelings of feminism all around us.
I love this random little island on Bruny Island, I always knew it would be fun to photograph. When Daisy saw it, she claimed it as Bunny Island, and we had a grand mini adventure before our big one, of course!

What an honour it was to capture Aunty Cheryl and her beautiful family, who were visiting her from Queensland. Such an incredible matriarch of our little town. Watching all the hugs and love she bestowed upon her great granddaughter brought tears to my eyes.
A wholesome vintage session to capture lives as they are.

In the heart of our little town, way down south in Geeveston, you'll find the magic of Harvest and Light. Everything about this wine bar has meaning and soul. From the origins of its name, the produce sold and the beautiful people that work there.
This nights occasion was a dinner hosted by Sarah, Daisy and Jim. Delicious food, unforgettable tastes and to die for wines.

A little set from my stay at Seabirds, on South Bruny Island. A beautiful, relaxing and luxurious stay, I didn't want to leave. I saw one giant sea eagle fly so low and close, it took my breath away. You can walk all over the gorgeous property and enjoy the views that stretch out to Satellite Island and beyond. Giving free reign to explore such a large space is amazing, you don't have to drive once you arrive to have a good hike and watch the sunset over the island.
