In June I was very honoured to attend & photograph the grand opening of Jump Swim School in Armstrong Creek. It was such a pleasure to capture the celebration of a beautiful brand new business. The highlight of the day absolutely had to be the real life mermaid!

Here I am!!

It has been a HOT MINUTE since I have shared on here 🫠 actually, it’s been since March 😬 but don’t for a second think things haven’t been flat out - TLP is literally busier than ever…let me explain.

I was completely booked out for March through to the end of June - I had so many galleries to shoot and edit, and a very firm deadline that I needed to be up to date with work by June 30 as I wasn’t working at all in July.

Why no work in July? Because we travelled the East Coast of Australia!!! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience but I will save that for another post 😏

Anyway, with so much work on (as well as running around after the kids with school, sport, social lives & catching all the viruses 🙄) something had to give, and that something was keeping up with social media 😬

In not regularly posting work I had been producing, do you know what happened????
Nothing! I didn’t see people stop asking for quotes, or booking in shoots. Word of mouth was still as strong as ever, and it’s made me realise that no matter how digital our lives have become, maybe social media isn’t king after all. So much more can be said for being loyal and kind to your customers/clients, because they are the ones who will literally keep the people coming through your door, & for that, I am so grateful!

And now, to contradict myself after all that talk about social media, I am going to start bombarding my page with all of the gorgeous shoots I have been doing the past few months anyway, plus some holiday spam also because all these photos are too precious not to share :)
