Have made an effort to stay well away from instagram mainly due to lack of anything interesting to post, but also to help keep my sanity in check.
Been working so much the last few months, I've had almost no time to shoot. Well hopefully that's all about to change. Sunrise season is here, and then it's off to The Great Plains again to FINALLY see a tornado 🤞

Late summer storm over the beaches

Valley of the gods is the Valley of the goods.
Sounds a bit hippy but this place had a really nice energy about it. Came out in 2024 and only stayed a night but really hoping to spend a few nights here IF we manage to bag a tornado early in the next trip!

I was this 👌 close to saying "nah bu**er it, not gonna take photos tonight"

Really glad I got off my arse! Thirty seconds after setting up the camera this insane bolt lit up the sky with the follow up crack only seconds later. Checked the back of the camera and decided my work was done 👍

A wild post-storm sky somewhere in eastern Oklahoma. Counting the days to get back over there. Not stopping till I see a tornado!!

It's been one burner after another this week.

Usually September absolutely sucks for photography but with a run of storms, swells and sunrises this has been one of the best in years 👍👍

Shooting Canola fields is always a blast. It's crazy how vibrant the yellows are, even on a gloomy day.
Head west and check them out before they go!

Sunrise of the year! This morning really came through with the goods. Sky started burning about an hour before sunrise, a good sign to get out of bed and dust off the drone.

One last (extreme) blast of winter this weekend before hopefully spring conditions take over. Long range forecast shows thunderstorm condition early - mid September! 🤞🤞🤞

Maybe I'm just getting old but this winter really, really sucked. On the bright side, looks like a run of good weather starting this weekend, then storm season is just around the corner. Let's gooooooo!
