Dorrigo National Park

This hike was such a fun little adventure, we went swimming in one swimming hole and wow the water was FRESH! but super nice on a warm humid day. We swam up the stream through a mini canyon and got ourselves in under a waterfall at the end of it, which was a lot harder than it sounds, the current was strong pushing off the waterfall and it took us a while to figure out how to anchor ourselves so we could climb in under the falls, we got there with perseverance and lots of laughter. Did I mention the water was COLD!?!?

-Weeping cherry blossoms

At Uni this last semester I studied analogue photography, the course itself was so much fun and I absolutely loved the chance to explore some of the earlier photographic processes and getting to know alot more about the history and developement of a art form that I love.

I'll definitely be experimenting more with the cyanotype process, there's a real change of pace working with the chemistry and I find it creates better practices when it comes to planning your work plus the mini chemistry lab really brings out the big kid in you, not just the cyantypes but all the analogue processes have really got me thinking of new waya to approach all of my photographic work.
