When working with people to capture portraits, lifestyles, celebrations and amazing moments, we work with clients to make sure they are completely comfortable and at ease. Together we decide on locations, and provide directions on how to pose, we reassure the camera-shy by showing images as we work and we bring a sense of play into the session to make sure the shoot is as fun and natural as can be.

This evening I photographed the opening of Re/Place by artists Nadia Rasheed and Diane Keating at Zig Zag Gallery, with Curator Gemma Ben-Ary.

It was such a pleasure spending time with artists and seeing the community come together to celebrate the artists and their work.

Capturing the Subiaco East project for UDLA and Oculus

These images document the built landscape architecture and capture the subtle rhythms of the site — exercising locals, footballers training, dog walkers, against the backdrop of the retained heritage elements, public art and the shifting play of light and shadow of the planting.

Subiaco Oval is a place alive with movement and detail, where people, heritage, and landscape coexist within beautifully considered community focused, award winning design.

You're invited to the opening of Walyalup Waters, an exhibition, inviting audiences to submerge themselves in the salty spirit of Walyalup as part of Ten Nights in Port / Fremantle Walyalup festival.

Please join us for the opening event, at 6:00 pm on Friday, 11 August at PS Art Space, 22 Packenham Street, Fremantle

Walyalup Waters features artists working across painting, drawing, moving image, poetry, print and immersive installation, the artists share a deep fascination with submerged ecologies and stories from the sea.

The exhibition continues at Bathers Beach, with an outdoor photography exhibition featuring underwater photography by divers, capturing imagery of the creatures found in the waters close by.

Curated by – Yvonne Doherty featuring WA Artists; Erin Coates, Ross Potter, Grace Slaven, Sandy McKendrick, Anna Nazzari, Jo Darbyshire, Amok Island, Cass Lynch and Ian Daniell.

Underwater photography by; Sandy McKendrick, Daniel Barker, Daniel Messom, Janet O’Brien, Jason Milligan, Kathleen Wilton, Matt Smith, Natalia Bozhanova, Shannon Earnshaw and Tammy Gibbs.
