There is something so incredibly special about capturing your family as you welcome a new little love into your world. In your own space, the one that feels like home. The lounge you spend hours feeding on, the nursery you created excitedly.
Where life is unfolding, where you're finding your feet, soaking up those tiny details and getting to know this beautiful little human you've created.

I adore these sessions with the cuddles, the chaos, the tiny fingers, the proud big siblings and all those little moments that might seem ordinary now in the tiredness, but one day will mean absolutely everything. These are the 'good old days'

To me, It's not just about remembering what your baby looked like. It's about remembering how it all felt.

A little reminder that alongside weddings, I also photograph bumps, babies and families. From celebrating that beautiful growing belly, to those first precious hours in hospital, to bringing your baby home and documenting life exactly as it is. Your house is enough, perfect... actually. It doesn't need to be new or polished.

If you're looking for a gift for an expectant mum, a photography voucher is something pretty special. Because tiny outfits and wraps are adorable, but photographs of this chapter of life? They'll only become more precious with time And they are valid for three years.

Sara left Jarrod sitting in her Tinder matches for three months, before she finally decided to give him a crack.
And lucky she did, because this bushie truck driver was about to become a pretty important part of her world. Her forever person.

Their first date was by the river at Hillston, a casual three hour drive from Parkes. There was obviously a bit of chemistry because from there, weekends were spent taking turns making the trip to see each other, and just four months later Sara packed up and moved to Hillston with her daughter. "He never tried to change me, or fix any part of me. He loved me exactly as I was"

Fast forward a few years and they've built their family home, welcomed a beautiful little boy and created a whole lot of adventures. Five years later they've become hubby and wife with one hundred of their favourites celebrating.

Jarrod is a bushie through and through, during our portraits he named the types of trees and told me what all the prickles were called. A truck driver who Sara absolutely adores, but I think what she loves most about him is the way he loves her. All of her. And listening to their speeches, I couldn't help but notice how similar they were, both thanking the other for the same things, for being their safe place, for loving them unconditionally and for a love where they can just be themselves.

All morning Sara was bursting with anticipation for her Dad to see her as a bride. It was worth the wait. He sobbed with pride. Two gorgeous families overjoyed for this wedding, I could feel their genuine excitement.

And isn't that the whole point of it all? Finding someone who loves the person you are, the life you've lived and everything that comes with you.

I'd say that truck driver was worth replying to after all, Sara

👋 Take the tags off your suit prior
👋 Try your suit and shoes on before your wedding morning
👋 Steam your shirts the day before (or get mum to!)

Simple things = less stress.
Guys have it easy, really 😅 brides, you'll agree.
