am I still “boudoir material”?
I want to gently tell you what I wish every woman heard sooner.
Your body has carried you through so much. Through the long years, the seasons, the joy and the grief and all the ordinary mornings in between. It is not too old. It is not past its prime. It is exactly right.
Beauty does not disappear with a new season of life — sometimes it becomes deeper. The softness, the lines, the story written across you... that is not something to overcome. It is something to honour.
For years as a nurse I watched women pour everything into caring for everyone else, and quietly leave themselves last. You have not missed your moment. This season of your life deserves to be witnessed — and you have earned the right to be seen beautifully, exactly as you are now.
You have a story worth being seen. You always have.
