Susan and Louis met working at Maccas when they were sixteen years old which honestly feels like proof that soulmates can absolutely begin with frozen Coke machines and loose nuggets.
And somehow their story only gets sweeter from there.
These two are both fraternal twins and share the exact same birthday. The statistical odds of that alone are apparently over one in many million according to Susan’s mum, who absolutely nailed the assignment with her speech in only the way a mathematician could (and I’m not going to do that justice - can someone comment the stats again??). Then add on the fact they met as teenagers and built this whole beautiful life together? Truly one of those stories that makes you pause for a second and admit the universe might just be one big old cheeky thing after all.
These two have been together forever in the gentlest of ways. No fuss, no performance, just wholesome and kind vibes. The sorta connection where you can tell they genuinely love doing life together, whether that’s trying Melbourne’s best restaurants, spending slow mornings on the couch yelling answers at the quiz, or hanging out with their gorj pup Marvin, who just about stole the show.
And honestly, their wedding felt exactly like them. Thoughtful, relaxed, deeply loved-up and centred entirely around good food and good people. Day one was the sweetest intimate little registry office ceremony followed by Cutler with their nearest and dearest. Day two rolled into Cumulus for more feasting, more wine, more speeches and a lot more dancing.
The absolute sweetest humans. Thank you for having me!
