My third month of soaking up this season ♥️

Another slow month at home 🙏
Not behind the camera for others.

And now somehow it’s September.
The month I slowly start finding my way back behind the camera again.

I’m excited, nervous and ready to create again 💫

There’s something about capturing a mum with multiple little ones…

It makes you realise just how much motherhood can hold all at once.

Being completely touched out, desperately needing five minutes to yourself… while also wanting to freeze time because you know how quickly these little years disappear 🙏

The noise.
The cuddles.
The constant “Mumma”.
And being needed for everything.

It’s exhausting and beautiful and overwhelming and somehow, you wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Because we know that one day, they won’t need us quite so much.

And I think that’s the part we’ll miss the most ♥️

There’s something so special about being invited back into a family’s story ♥️

I’ve photographed this beautiful little family a few times now, but this time I was lucky enough to meet everyone; grandparents, siblings, grandchildren… altogether in the family home 🙏

The house that holds so many of their memories ✨

Extended family sessions; they’re not just photos of everyone together but your family as they are… right now!

The people, the connections, the chaos and all the love in between ♥️♥️

July 🫶

What a beautiful little chapter ♥️

With Jude, I remember counting down the weeks until we were out of the newborn trenches. 6 weeks felt like the biggest milestone where we could finally breathe again… (somewhat).

This time feels different ✨

Maybe it’s because I know how quickly it all disappears. Maybe it’s because he’s (most likely) my last newborn. Or maybe it’s because I’ve realised the newborn bubble looks so different for every mother.

A mother with a newborn navigating reflux/colic is living a completely different reality to a mother whose baby is having a more settled newborn season 🥹♥️

And I think that’s why I’ve felt so grateful for these days with Knox 💙

The slow mornings. The peaceful cuddles. The feeds. The chance to really soak him in.

Don’t get me wrong, there have been hard moments… but they just don’t feel as heavy this time around.

This time, my newborn bubble isn’t ending at 6 weeks… it’s stretching all the way to 12 🥰

…And somehow, we’re already three quarters of the way through it.

A July I know I’ll look back on and miss more than I can imagine ♥️
