šEsperance Stonehenge
A full size replica of the original Stonehenge in the UK, it was built in 2011 while the original was built around 3000 BC to 2000 BC
The structure is aligned with the summer and winter solstice (longest and shortest days of the year)
A total of 137 stones, 15 178kms from the original, and 5000 years apart!
As someone who hasnāt been to the one in the UK, this is still an amazing site to see when in Esperance! There is a fee but a nice lady tells you all about the history and thereās also a gift shop where you can get coffee and souvenirs!
