That’s a wrap for IMHR Nationals 2026 🤍

Tamworth you were a blast!
The weather actually behaved for once, the atmosphere was unreal, & it felt so good to be back where it all happens catching up with everyone.

I managed to sneak in a few private shoots for some friends while I was there… & let me tell you, the horses were STUNNING! but also absolutely cooked after a full week of travel & showing their little hearts out 😅 most of them looked at me like “girl, read the room” & wanted nothing to do with my camera.

Lucky for me, I’ve got the kind of people around me who will fully commit… like rolling around in the dirt, making questionable noises & waving arms like lunatics just to get a set of ears forward 😂 honestly half the time I’m trying to shoot while laughing. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Massive congrats to everyone on their wins as well! So many well deserved results & some seriously beautiful horses out there 🤍

I’m beyond grateful for the people I’ve got around me, my biggest supporters always & I don’t say it enough.

Had an absolute blast & I’m already counting down to next year…

…maybe next time I’ll be back with my own horses too 👀🐴

✨IMHR NATIONAL SHOW✨

I’ll be attending Nationals across the full show next week & opening up a limited number of bookings for anyone wanting special memories captured of their horses or ponies 🤍

I’ll be offering:
– Private portrait sessions
– Presentation photos (award & ribbon moments)
– Group & stud photos

‼️Please note: All photos will be taken outside of the arena (in grassed/quiet areas away from classes). I will not be photographing ring classes or competition‼️

Well… that was a bit of a break 😅

Finally picked the camera back up & it feels pretty bloody good to be shooting again.

This is Gemstone (Gem Gem) — my little old Foxhound I adopted. She’s mostly a professional lounger, but every now & then she absolutely loses it & starts throwing her bones & pigs ears around like a maniac 😂

She won’t let anyone near her just yet, so we’re taking it slow & letting her come around in her own time 🤍

Every photoshoot is special, but this one with Wookajue Border Collies really left an impression on me. From the second I arrived, there was just so much love in the air. The pups were ridiculously photogenic (honestly, they knew how to work the camera better than me 😂) & already so clever! You could see that classic Border Collie spark shining through their eyes.

What really stuck with me though, was watching the bond between their owner & her dogs. It wasn’t just love, it was connection—deep, loyal, unspoken. The mum of the litter showed it too. She never left her human’s side, but you could see her eyes flicking back to her babies every second. That kind of devotion is exactly why Border Collies are such an incredible breed to be around.

We photographed under a mango tree (yes, I’m allergic, but I survived for the pups 😂). The sun was filtering through the leaves while the little ones rolled around in the grass, crunching on the leaves like they were gourmet snacks & sneaking mouthfuls of dirt when they thought no one was watching. Pure chaos, pure joy. The kind of moments that make me fall in love with this job all over again.

Border Collies really are something else—intelligent, loyal, endlessly devoted! & these little pups were already proof of just how special they are. ✨🐾

🐾💥 FRENCHIE FRENZY – October Breed Feature! 💥🐾

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Breed Feature… but we’re bringing it back in style! And who better to headline the comeback than the French Bulldogs — the snorting, snuffling, wiggly little butt comedians of the dog world. Built like a tank, face like an angel (sorta 😆), & enough sass to run the whole household!

I’m on the lookout for ONE or TWO fabulous Frenchies to star in my October Breed Feature!

Woohoo! It’s foaling season again… which means prepare yourselves for plenty of foal spam over the next few months (sorry not sorry 😝)

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous little filly for one of my favourite clients, & oh my goodness, she is just divine. Everyone meet Mount Hallen Sov’s Sophia. This little girl has the perfect mix of sass & sweetness — one minute she’s strutting around like she owns the place, the next she’s leaning in for smooches. If looks could kill, we’d all be on the ground.

She is sired by the incredible Rhapsody’s Fashions Sov-Reign, & my god did he stamp his mark on her. The looks, the movement, the temperament — she’s got it all. Horses like her don’t just happen by accident, & Jillian Linnan of Mount Hallen American Shetland Stud has honestly produced something truly special.

I’m not going to lie… I think I’m a little obsessed with this filly! ✨

This is Zuko 🐾
Cocker Spaniel, professional Velcro dog & all round happy dude.

He is the smiliest little guy — just pure joy on legs. His mum calls him a Velcro dog & honestly… she’s not wrong. Wherever she went, there he was, glued right on with floppy ears & big goofy eyes.

This boy had me in absolute stitches — Zuko spent half the shoot chasing a little girl just begging for pats. She screamed & ran for her life, meanwhile he’s zooming after her with ears flying & tongue hanging out like it’s the best game ever 🤣 Then, as if that wasn’t enough, he went & fell straight into the pond. Pure comedy.

I was obsessed. I loved every second of this shoot. He’s basically a clone of my childhood dog Lollypop — same floof, same goofy grin, same cheeky energy. Now I’m convinced… a cocker spaniel is 100% back on my must have list.

Zuko, you’re a legend. 10/10 would photograph again (& probably steal if I could) 🩷

It’s been very quiet on here for the last month or so… life’s been throwing curveballs as per usual, & I’ve had to step back for a bit 🥲

But I’m ready to get back into the swing of things! Starting with photographing the AHAQ All Breeds Halter Spectacular at Park Ridge Pony Club next weekend (24th August).

Meet Jack, Maple & Bonnie!
Their owner messaged me before the shoot like “Uhh… not sure how they’ll go together, it might be chaos.”

And look — I’ve met chaos. I am chaos. So naturally, I said “challenge accepted.” 😎

But these three? Absolute gems.

Jack, the big softie. He’s apparently known for daydreaming at butterflies at home (I KNOW, stop it). We didn’t see any fluttering by on shoot day, but he still gave me that slow blink, thinking about life energy. Like he was writing emotional poetry in his head the entire shoot.

Maple is the floppy eared angel who could win medals in being so damn adorable. She’d glance up at me like “am I doing good?” Girl, you’re doing amazing. Gold star. 10/10. Would photograph again & again & again.

& Bonnie? Miss Independent. Confident, no nonsense, probably rolls her eyes when the others get too silly. The type of girl who knows her angles & absolutely runs the house. An absolute QUEEN.

They’re all still pups, but the way they turned it on for the camera? I was obsessed. The treats were flying, the tails were wagging, & their humans were absolute legends the whole way through.

What was supposed to be wild & unpredictable turned out to be one of my favourite sessions yet, my tummy actually hurt from laughing by the end! These three were just pure magic! Floofy, funny, & just the kind of shoot that 100% fills your cup 🩷 I cannot wait to photograph this lot again!

Did ya miss me?
Probably not. But I’m back anyway 😎

I’ve been a bit off the grid dealing with some personal & health stuff — nothing dramatic, just life doing its thing & me needing to hit pause. But the camera’s back in my hand, the chaos is under control (ish), & I’ve got stories to tell. Starting with this absolute unit of a dog.

Meet Kade.
Big. Loyal. Has the build of a guard dog & the heart of an absolute marshmallow. He somehow manages to look both intimidating & cuddly at the same time — like a big, furry contradiction you can’t help but love!
Photographing him & his human? Pure gold. The kind of shoot that reminds me why I do this — not for the likes, not for the fluff (okay maybe a little fluff), but for this. The real stuff. The moments that matter.

Thanks to everyone who stuck around while I hit pause, can’t wait to get back behind the camera & create some magic with you guys 🩷
