The Repco Supercars Championship has arrived on New Zealand’s South Island for the first time! Very cool to be capturing all the action at Christchurch’s Ruapuna Raceway during Supercars first visit. It’s like hosting Supercars at Wakefield Park or Winton, and there are a few things that will be improved before the next one. But race cars and snow capped mountains can’t be a bad combination.

69 cars. 6.2km of racetrack. 6 hours to decide a winner.

The tradition of racing at Mount Panorama over the Easter long weekend was set long before I came into the sport, but it’s been a privilege to capture every running of the Bathurst 6 Hour so far. The mountain continues to deliver some of the best, and most chaotic endurance racing anywhere in the world.

But now it’s time to turn my attention to some international circuits. Bring on the Supercars double header in New Zealand.

Gearing up for another couple of weeks on the road. Looking forward to getting back to Bathurst and Phillip Island for the 6 Hour and the SRO SpeedSeries season opener.

If you are competing in the Bathurst 6 Hour, Trans Am, GT4 or GT World Challenge and need photos, make sure you reach out ASAP.

That was fun! A little bit of everything from the new cars. Plenty going on all weekend. Took some cool photos. Probably need to have a crack at one of these F1 races overseas before the year is over.
