Let's just say I came up with some sort inspired note about rainbows after the rain... Anyway, huge weekend at The Bend Motorsport Park for the second round of the SpeedSeries for 2026, tricky conditions both to photograph and race in. But tricky always makes for interesting photos.

The Repco Supercars Championship has arrived on New Zealand’s South Island for the first time! Very cool to be capturing all the action at Christchurch’s Ruapuna Raceway during Supercars first visit. It’s like hosting Supercars at Wakefield Park or Winton, and there are a few things that will be improved before the next one. But race cars and snow capped mountains can’t be a bad combination.

Odd to wrap up a Supercars weekend on a Saturday night, but the right call was made regardless. An extra day off to regroup before heading to Christchurch for the next one. Looking forward to checking out a new track.

69 cars. 6.2km of racetrack. 6 hours to decide a winner.

The tradition of racing at Mount Panorama over the Easter long weekend was set long before I came into the sport, but it’s been a privilege to capture every running of the Bathurst 6 Hour so far. The mountain continues to deliver some of the best, and most chaotic endurance racing anywhere in the world.

But now it’s time to turn my attention to some international circuits. Bring on the Supercars double header in New Zealand.

Just like that the Shannons Speed Series, GT World Challenge Australia and GT4 Australia are underway for 2026. In typical Phillip Island fashion we got a little bit of everything over the course of 3 days, both with the weather and the on-track action. Bring on season 2026. But first it’s off the Mount Panorama for the Bathurst 6 Hour.
