Sofias details at the lodge 🤍 But something significant here was her beautiful bouquet. The flowers in her bouquet were actually from her late nonnos garden and she had the florist arrange them.

Controversial, but family photos are genuinely one of my favourite parts of the day.

Yes, the list can get long. No, I'm not going to tell you to cut it down.

This is the stuff your mum frames. It's the hug with your mother-in-law, the photo with just you and your dad, and your nan in the big group shot. And, apparently, your mum photobombing your husband's handshake with his dad.

You don't get these moments back if you rush through them.

I've popped my family photo template on the last slide. Save it for when you start your list, and send it to anyone you know getting married.

Getting the detalls together in the morning is honestly one of my favourite little rituals of the day.

She chose calla lilies and baby's breath, tled the bouquet with a pearl bracelet, and had her perfume and pearls sitting ready by the mirror. Simple and classic, and so her.

If you're getting married soon, here's what to pop in one spot before l arrive:

• Your dress (on a nice hanger if you have one)
• Shoes
• Veil or hairpiece
• Engagement ring and wedding bands
• Jewellery, like earrings, necklace or bracelet
• Perfume
• Your invitation or any stationery
• Something sentimental, like an heirloom, a photo or a note
• Vow books or letters
• Your bouquet, once it arrives

It means your photographer can go ahead with this without needing to ask you where everything is and interrupting your morning.

This year I will be doing something a little different and doing them at Seven Mile Beach. There will be a small setup of a christmas tree with some presents wrapped under the tree and a rug to sit on! *Please note photo in post is just an inspo photo! But setup will be similar.

The Merribee on 35mm film. 35mm is something I have recently added and I’m having so much fun creating with it. It’s actually made me take a step back and think before I shot. Instead of just over shooting everything. I’m hoping I will start making this apart of my digital workflow too!
