This little Madagascar lemur had itself wrapped up with his tail like a natural scarf keeping himself nice and warm as the morning dew slowly drips off the green grass and leaves evaporating slowly around him || shot with 70-200mm

Early morning at , just me and a pygmy hippo locked in a silent staring contest.

Eyes barely above the water… she looked convinced I couldn’t see her, but she never took her eyes off me.

For nearly 10 minutes, nothing moved. Just this quiet, intense moment.

One of my coolest images I’ve ever captured.

A true blink and you miss it moment, the exact split second the Argentine Ruddy Duck breaks back through the surface, yet the water still hasn’t let go. For an instant, surface tension holds everything together like a warm tortilla on taco Tuesday, wrapping around his body before finally snapping apart.

Wild physics, perfect timing, and yet another moment that reminds me why sitting in the moment and observing your surroundings can pay off.

It’s photos like these that continue to make me love and appreciate what I do 😁

Most people will see this and think it was easy… just a moment, just a shot.
They don’t see the missed chances, the frustration, the doubt, the times I almost walked away, the hundreds of shots that didn’t make the cut.

But I stayed.
I sat, I found comfort in the discomfort and for a split second, everything aligned.

This isn’t just a Monarch butterfly… it’s what happens when you don’t quit when you allow yourself to sit in the moment, to be present and still.

Happy birthday brother 🐢
Another year older, another year slower… guess the name Turtle was destiny.
Jokes aside, you’re one of the realest mates I could ask for. Through all the chaos, laughs, and questionable decisions, you’ve always been there to pull me up on my s**t or help me through tough times. Love you bro, hope this year brings you everything you deserve.

For hours the clouds owned the sky.
Every street, every lookout, every empty road… I kept searching for a break.

Then for a moment the sky blinked.

And there it was.
The moon, burning red in the darkness like the sky itself was bleeding.

I had this night circled on my calendar for months.

The blood moon.

And I almost slept through it.

My first mistake was thinking it was March 2nd, so I went to bed like any normal night… until my mum woke me up and said, “Isn’t the blood moon supposed to be happening right now?”

Instant panic.

I grabbed my camera, ran outside, and looked up only to be reminded that I live in Melbourne, where the clouds seem to appear the moment something incredible is happening in the sky.

The moon was somewhere up there… hidden.

But I wasn’t giving up.

So I started driving.

Street after street.
Suburb after suburb.
Chasing breaks in the clouds like they were moving targets.

Every few minutes I’d pull over, jump out of the car, look up, hoping the sky would open for just a moment.

Just long enough.

Long enough to see that deep red glow.
Long enough to frame the shot.
Long enough to capture the moment I’d been waiting months for.

Because sometimes photography isn’t just about the camera.

Sometimes it’s about the chase.

The crowd disappears.
The spotlights fade to blue.
And suddenly it’s not a concert anymore
it’s a man alone with his guitar and everything he’s ever felt.

These are the moments I live to capture.
