Prue is the other friend I was honoured to make last weekend. I loved seeing her live her best life, playing outside all day with her new bestie Cleo and even little speedy Hank.

A bunch of us were outside enjoying the bonfire and I of course couldn't resist photographing the pups having fun running across the field. The bonfire smoke adds a moody touch, almost like a dramatic movie scene haha.

I always worry about the pets when a fire alarm goes off. Love the idea of having a clear signal for rescuers to know there’s a dog in the house.

In apartment buildings I often wonder about having some kind of buddy system, so that someone can check on your pet in case of emergency - even a false alarm can be distressing to those who don’t understand what’s going on.
