“My partner hates photos”

I hear this more often than you might think.

And usually, it isn’t really the photographs they dislike.
It’s the feeling of being posed, watched, or not knowing what they are supposed to do.

So I don’t expect anyone to suddenly become comfortable in front of a camera.

We walk.
We talk.
You hold the children.
Someone makes a joke.
Someone wanders off.

And gradually, it stops feeling like a photoshoot.

You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t even need to particularly enjoy having your photos taken.

You just need to be there with the people you love. I’ll gently guide the rest.

If there is a person in your family who keeps saying “no photos”…you can quietly send them this post ❤️
