My neighbours cows came for a visit mid maternity session Sunday night and I stopped to take this photo of them.

Standing in her divine sacred power, carrying life, becoming more of herself than she’s ever been.

You don’t need to be confident, you just need to have courage.

This is motherhood in its most breathtaking, goddess form.

Because this season deserves to be honoured, not hidden.

One of the most common things I hear is I could never look like that or I am not confident enough.

You don’t need to be confident to be worthy of capturing this season.

All you need is to have enough courage to give yourself permission to be seen, validated & Beautiful.

Give yourself permission to do this for you.

Take up space.

You’ll never get this time back. This pregnancy, this baby.

Having a baby is the most life changing experience anyone but more so a woman will ever go through. You are quite literally creating life from scratch, it doesn’t get much more magical than that.

So why are we willing to save & invest in the memories of our wedding but not of us creating life & capturing how incredible it is to hold our baby that we created in our arms?

Most things in life that have value we generally need to save up for so why should photos be any different?

If you buy a coffee everyday that’s almost $2000 a year.

If you get takeaway once a week that over $2000 a year.

If you truly value something you will save for it. It is what we prioritise as important.

Most people don’t understand the true value of photos until they are all you have left.

The last remaining connection you have to someone you loved. The last reminder of what they looked like.
They become everything.

Photos are the most valuable possession you will ever own especially when they are all you have left.

You never know what tomorrow will bring & one day these memories will be everything.

What life experience changed you the most?

You don’t understand how important photos are until they are all you left.

I lost my dad almost 6 years ago.

6 years of life without him, is also 6 years of missed memories.

I have barely any photos of him.

I will always invest in photos of my family. For me these memories of us, our family, our life, my babies are invaluable.

I want to remember it all. Every season of life with my babies, of my motherhood, their childhood. This is our story.

I want to remember all the versions of them.

To feel all the emotions looking back on when my babies were still so little and how these little people changed the meaning of love.

Knowing that one day they will ask what life was like when they were little and I’ll be able to show them what their life was like and just how loved they were from the very beginning.

This time is so precious, they will never be as little as they are right now, we can never get this time back but we can revisit it through photos.

If it is important enough to you, you will prioritise it. Put money away for photos like you do for anything else that you want that you desire.
