Pit Stories Vol. 04

With all the motorsport I’ve had the privilege of seeing up close, roll and drag racing were yet to be ticked off! I knew instantly that there would be nothing cooler than seeing insanely powerful GTR’s launch off the line at GTR Festival, given my bias in this department.

These cars shake you to your core, all while looking like they drove off the showroom floor. Most know that the eastern states just do it different! So as a lil’ South Australian, getting to see this industry up close was wild.

My VIP pass allowed trackside access, an experience I won’t forget any time soon. And this is the unforgettable .gtr from on Friday night. Earlier that day, it effortlessly clocked a 7.56 second pass at just over 300kms / hr!! 🥵

Lipschinski Diaries Vol. 02

As Round 2 of the State Series approaches, I’m still smiling from Round 1 with Troy and Riki-Lee. I had the pleasure of watching them start the comp year on a high - due to impressive driving on both their parts.

They continue to remind me that I’m not just taking photos, i’m documenting milestones - and I’ve learned how much these milestones matter to me too!

They have destroyed many a tyre since last round and I’ve been itching to get myself out with them trackside again. So letssss go!!

A few weeks ago, I was given the very special honour of attending an engagement/housewarming as a photographer. To be asked by such a beautiful soul to document a huge milestone — simply because they love the way I see the world through my lens — was the ultimate compliment. A responsibility I didn’t take lightly, and one that brought me so much joy.

If you don’t know by now, I’m a firm believer in being that annoying person constantly pointing a camera at you. Even if it can feel awkward at times, it’s always worth hearing someone say, that it wasn’t for my photo, that memory would’ve been lost in time.

So even if you don’t want to pay for a professional — take the picture.

Thanks to for making sure my own milestone memory wasn’t lost in time.

Pit Stories Vol. 03

As I crept around / in March last year, I knew I was in the company of a legend. But the most special thing about Hiro and his parents was how down to earth they were.

When I reflect on this photo now, it’s hard to believe that this is THE Hiro Minowa, just casually watching the action at our local track.

As we watch this teenage drift prodigy build his future across multiple motorsport disciplines, I’ll never forget that one time DSA brought the Minowa’s to The Bend.
