What an absolutely incredible moment this was 🤍

Alex and I had been planning this surprise proposal for months, and I was lucky enough to be there undercover as a social media content creator, capturing everything without giving the surprise away.

We did it at the stunning location/Highland Cow Experience of Haukhill Highlands , and little did the soon to be fiancé know that we were secretly planning to capture one of the biggest moments of their lives. 🥹

Before Alex even proposed, they were out patting the cows, laughing and enjoying what she described as “the best day of her life”. Then Alex got down on one knee and the moment was honestly just magic. 🤍

Afterwards, we had so much fun running around together, capturing some beautiful photos and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. These are the moments I absolutely love being able to photograph, genuine, happy and unforgettable memories that you can look back on for years to come.

Where do I even start… this was simply amazing.
This Black Swan inspired couples shoot has me wishing I could shoot it all over again! From picking Shan & Cailee’s brains to throwing papers all over the room, every part of it was so much fun.
Still dreaming about this one. 🖤

What an absolutely beautiful engagement shoot! 🤍

It was honestly so much fun being part of the Haukhill Highlands Highlands Cow experience with Amy & Jarrod. 🐄

The views were spectacular and every Highland cow had its own unique personality. There were so many characters and our one hour photography session absolutely flew by. 📷

Big shout out to “Latte” who was definitely my personal favourite! 😍

Hey!! I’m Marko✌️
The heart and eye behind Storybook Weddings

I’ve been obsessed with cameras for as long as I can remember, from making random little action videos as a kid to now having a diploma in photography and photo imaging () . Safe to say I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’m based in Victoria and get to capture weddings all across the state.

When I’m not capturing weddings, you’ll usually find me watching old episodes of Friends, heading to the cinemas (huge movie buff 🍿), or taking way too many photos of my cat 😅

I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward. Like… what do I even do with my hands? (yep, heard it all before). That’s exactly why I keep everything fun, relaxed and natural so you can just be yourselves, enjoy the moment and not feel like anything is forced or overdone.

On your wedding day I’m more than just someone holding a camera. I’m there to lift the energy when you need it, calm the nerves when things feel a bit much, and help everything feel easy and effortless. I want you to have the best time ever while I capture it all as it actually felt 🤍

Honestly, this is the best job in the world to me, hands down. I’m so grateful I get to do this and be part of moments like yours.

Love has a way of making everything else fade into the background, and that is exactly what Nic and Maryanne’s day felt like. It was relaxed, genuine and full of real moments from start to finish.

I had so much fun shooting with them in Dromana. The whole day was easy going, we shared plenty of laughs and nothing ever felt forced. From the ceremony at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Kamariani to the celebrations afterwards at , everything flowed naturally and made capturing their story effortless! And can we take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the flowers are from 👌

Days like this remind me why I love photographing weddings so much. 📸✨

Maryanne and Nic’s wedding on the Mornington Peninsula was such a special one for me. 🌅

Being a part of their day and sharing that time with them was the best😊😊

We caught the most beautiful golden hour along the hillside and honestly had so much fun doing it. Lots of laughs, a bit of running around, and just enjoying the moment while we took photos.
