Just found this comment on my page in regards to my photo caption at constitution dock.

Take it you're a bible basher who isn't a fan of dark m**o? Or just a sad mother fu**er with nothing better to do? πŸ€”

Who the f**k do you think you are Rod?? Ay???

You're not a hero, you are a dead set f**ktard!

Men like you, think it's ok to hide behind a keyboard!
Whilst women are dying at the hands of abusive men every day!! Every f**king day! Abuse, comes in many forms!!!

To my male friends and men in general, you need to call out your mates on bu****it like this! Wonder if Rod speaks to his mother, or other female family members like this? Or maybe it's just people he has never met πŸ˜‚

If you know Rod or are Rod, call him out on his bu****it!

As I was taking this image I could hear the deep mumble of a mid 60s males disdain - "every bloody year you have to stop and take the same blooy picture" I giggled, as I thought to myself, "yeah me too cobber."
I couldn't help myself & had to have a squiz. I turn to find him standing with hands on his hips, utter bordem & bewilderment plastered across his face as he stares across the water. Meanwhile, his happy & smiling wife gives not one single f**k as she stands there, almost taking that little longer cause old mates had a moan & takes plenty of pictures πŸ˜‚ You go girl! 😜

Made my night! πŸ˜‚

Got my Eagle fix today!!! πŸ₯°

Spotted 3 in one of their regular perches on my way home. Lucky for me, I sent the property owners a quick text to see if I could get that little bit closer! I wasn't disappointed!

These 3 beautiful Tassie Wedge-tails played in the thermals gliding over & around me, even looking me dead in the eye.

I haven't been able to pick up my camera due to injury for a while now, so today it was extra special. I love these birds so much. Absolutely amazing & mesmerising to watch.

There is one photo that really shows the aerodynamics of these raptors. one wing tip all aligned, whilst the others feathers are spread, with the tail feathers looking like a rudder.

Ah, yep, I know what you're thinking..... Clearly, I know all the technical terms πŸ˜‚

BTW, it was so hard to pick only these images.

Big thanks Laura & Dave!

Been a long time since I did a solo sunrise mission to the TessellatedPavementat EHN.
Didn't have my normal gear, including lenses or my tripod πŸ™„ ......cough cough....Mae! But went anyway. Even spotted a Devil scamper across the road between Dunalley & Murdunna.

It was so lovely to meet a crew of photographers here specifically to take shots of this beautiful island.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget

My sincere gratitude to all past & present servicemen & women. Thank you for the sacrifice you made for the rest of us.

Sunday arvo stroll.
Watching the clouds move across the bay & fresh cold salt wind in your face.
I turned round to head back, as the thick white wall of dense drizzle approached across the water, one of my favourite things to watch & guess how long it will take to arrive.
Rain, like shards of glass hitting my face sideways wasn't enough to make me walk faster, instead having the opposite effect. Strolled back taking in all the elements and mother nature beauty.
The solder crabs were out in force embracing the low tide. Their teeny tiny footprints are the cutest!
Got back to the car, hair everywhere, drenched but content.
Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, that's why you have to learn to love dancing in the rain!
You can tell by my boots which way the rain was coming in ☺️
