Sitting in Brisbane Airport, heading back north after one hell of a weekend.

I got flown back to where I used to be to photograph the CQ farmers’ wedding of the year, spent time visiting friends’ properties, and squeezed in a bunch of loved-up couples in the paddock.

Pretty bloody dreamy, if you ask me.

The amount of times I heard, “We only wanted you to take our photos, no matter what it took” — well, that one really got me. It’s pretty special to be trusted with these little pieces of people’s lives, and even better when it takes me back to places I’ve always loved.

Feeling very grateful for this little life and the places it keeps taking me.

So here’s to the rest of wedding season.

And if you’re planning a country wedding — I absolutely do travel, and I’d absolutely bloody love to be there to capture it all.

I feel like I’ve finally found my thing.

Country people, western brands, station life and telling good stories through photos—it doesn’t really feel like work when I get to have this much fun.

Thank you to everyone who’s trusted me with their brands lately. It’s been pretty cool watching this little dream slowly come to life.
