I had the privilege of photographing Darcy Macaulay from 4/8 light horse riding Parklands Time traveller for ANZAC day.
Definitely worth getting up before dawn on a Saturday to experience these two at sunrise.
I found it chilling to think Darcy, at only twenty years old, would have been the age of many men in the light horse at the time.

Last week we got up at 3:45am and took the horses to swim at the beach. ‘Why so early’ you may ask, to catch the sunrise of course!! Turns out the sun rises in a hard direction to get photos at that beach. I would have had to be in the water shooting back at the horses towards the beach. Not worth risking the camera… But the light before the sun came up was absolutely stunning!!! The kids loved it! My friend Brooke and her daughter came too, they are from Harmony Hills Gypsy Cobs and have awesome quiet horses. The palomino is Brooks Gypsy cross Thoroughbred and the black and white is Gypsy cross Clydesdale. This morning truly magic, a real soul nourishing kind of experience! I was pretty jealous not to be on a horse though… Next time I’m taking my palomino Chips and riding too!

I get tears in my eyes as my brides walk down the isle. The emotional energy always gets me… I love shooting weddings and being a part of this most special day❤️

Maja and Lenny were gorgeous, they held the ultimate farm wedding. It was an absolute cracker of a day full of love, dust and smiles!
