What’s better than having amazing coffee?☕️

HAVING AMAZING COFFEE ANYWHERE! With the drip bags we can bring our coffee on our travels!

When we reach the top of our hike we now take a moment in nature to make coffee and we can enjoy the sunrise or sunset even more!

One of our favourite views in Victoria!

The Balconies in the Grampians are definitely up there. Only a short walk from the carpark. The path there is on even ground and takes around 20 minutes.

We watched the sunset here and we could see the beautiful colours on the mountains🌄

We love doing hikes close to home and this is only an hour drive from Melbourne!

It’s a relatively short hike (one-hour round trip) which gives you amazing views! This is Hanging Rock in the Macedonian Ranges.

Penguins, penguins, and more penguins! Did you know that Phillip Island is home to the largest colony of Little Penguins in the world? Well you know now! Phillip Island is one of our favourite places to spot wildlife in Australia.

We’ve been lucky enough to have spend the last couple of days at the lovely Oakwood Premier Melbourne! 🤍

is a modern, luxurious, five star hotel in Southbank, located only a short distance from the Melbourne CBD 💫

We were fortunate enough to experience their state of the art one-bedroom apartment, which included incredible 360 panoramic views of the city, Port Phillip Bay, and beyond! 🙌🏼

They have a stylish lobby bar, perfect for evening drinks and light refreshments 🥂

Not to mention, an entirely equipped gym - no excuses! 🥲

Keep in mind, is close to a lot of well-known Melbourne attractions, for example the South Melbourne Market, Southbank, DFO and many more!

We loved our stay here and would recommend it to all of you too!

Five tips to make your photos look BETTER:

↠ EXPLORE YOUR ANGLES - don’t be afraid to try different angles. In our carousel you’ll notice that most of the photos we’ve included have been taken from different angles, this allows us to explore our creativity as well as being original with our work. For example, the first photo of René was taken with a low-angle; it gives a different perspective than the usual eye level perspective.

↠ CREATE DEPTH - start getting creative and add a foreground to your photos. It’ll add depth and make a boring frame look more interesting. There are many things you could use, for example bushes, flowers, rocks etc. We recommend shooting between F1.4 and F2.8 for a nice bokeh. For example, the second photo of Crystal is taken with a bush as a foreground.

↠ ADD A HUMAN TOUCH - give your photos a human touch, so simple yet makes a huge difference! Adding humans can create a more personal reaction and can even add a layer of scale and depth to your landscape photos - which we all love taking because we love traveling!

↠ THE RULE OF THIRDS - learn about the rule of thirds. We’ll explain it briefly here but it’s worth doing a little more research on. The rule of thirds is a composition guideline that places your subject in either the left third or right third of an image, leaving the other two thirds more open. For example, Crystal in the fourth photo is placed in the right third of the image (to the side).

↠ LOOK FOR REFLECTIONS - reflections can completely change an ordinary photo to a masterpiece!! Some of our favourite photos we’ve taken have included reflections on the water. However, they are hard to find and you need to hope you have a nice, still day without any wind (preferably). For example, our fifth photo is of the beautiful Lake Bohinj in Slovenia, and as you can see we have an INCREDIBLE reflection.

☀️ THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD, PART TWO ☀️

Our previous post detailed a few of our must-see places when visiting The Great Ocean Road. We definitely have more and would love to share!

1. The Gibson Steps - a lovely place for photography! Not to mention, you get up close and personal to the Twelve Apostles.

2. Teddy's Lookout - in our opinion, this is one of the most incredible views you'll get of The Great Ocean Road. This lookout can be found in a town called Lorne.

3. Erskine Falls - only minutes away from Lorne, this is the tallest waterfall in the region. Keep in mind, it's a whopping 240 steps down to the base of the waterfall - it's totally worth it though!

4. Hopetoun Falls - just another beautiful waterfall to stop by in the Great Otway National Park.

5. The Grotto - a hidden gem that we always love to see! It's a beautiful open cave.
