Happy Friday!

I figured it was about time I introduced myself officially.

Hey!! I’m Daniella ✨

I’m a photographer, but I’m also an actor (my first love), and I’ve spent over 20 years working in the film and television industry in one way or another. I also have an Advanced Diploma of Screen and I’ve studied at some of the most amazing acting institutions in Melbourne, London and Capetown.

I’ve been in front of the camera, behind the camera, and even worked in casting studios as a studio assistant/director in Cape Town and Melbourne for high profile clients over the years.

Safe to say, being creative in one way or another has always been a huge part of my life.

Photography started as a creative outlet and slowly grew into a business I genuinely love.

Whether I’m photographing actors, families, businesses and everything in between - my goal is always the same - to create images that feel authentic and tell a story.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me auditioning, chasing my next acting role and editing photos with a cup of coffee nearby!

Ohhh the range on this one!

Before shooting Nathan's headshots, we discussed adding more range to his portfolio for more opportunities down the line.

He definitely nailed it!

Nathan Ottobre is an actor focusing on film and television. Currently studying at The Melbourne Actors Lab, Nathan has been able to gain real on set experience by getting his own film, Commensurate, off the ground currently in post production, along with appearing in the horror film ‘Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism’ and the boxing film ‘Thunder’.

He has another role in an upcoming feature soon to be released and is focusing on writing a horror fiction novel for release next year.

The beautiful

Derrin Smith is a multidisciplinary artist with a love for immersive and interactive storytelling. She creates across a variety of mediums with the goal of bringing about transformative moments within intentional and vivid worlds.

Having recently graduated from Toi Whakaari with a degree in Design for Stage and Screen, she is building a career in the arts with a focus toward theatrical design, concept art, and playwriting.

This gorgeous girl is going places! All the best Derrin!

Introducing the gorgeous and talented .williams! Was such fun to work and collaborate with her.

Kahli Williams is an actress and filmmaker, with a passion for deep storytelling and dry comedy. With major TV roles in Neighbours, Dr Blake Mysteries and Worst Year of My Life Again.

Kahli leads internationally indie films: Blood Hunt, Model Behavior and The Siege of Robin Hood. She wrote, produced and starred in short films, Deluge and Reality Cheque, with more slated for 2026.

She’s currently in production for short film - Commensurate, whilst also working in the burlesque scene, both producing and performing.

Starting off the week strong with this incredibly talented powerhouse of a woman !

Carlia Capozza is an actor and filmmaker who works both in front of and behind the camera. She starred alongside John Wood in Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism and served as First Assistant Director on the film. She wrote, produced and starred in All About Valerie, now in development as a feature, and led the stage production The Tin Woman. Carlia is set to appear in two upcoming horror features and looks forward to focusing more on acting this year.

Introducing Ayrton Giarrocco!

I had the pleasure working with Ayrton for his first ever Headshots. He was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. Very open and willing to take advice and direction. I wish you all the best on your journey!

Ayrton is a new actor who has been studying with the Melbourne Actors Lab for almost a year now. He always romanticised working in film or television and wants to explore all types of character and genres through acting, from fantasy to sci-fi, thrillers and comedy he is interested in it all and is excited at the prospect of starting his journey in the acting world.

A wonderful review from Ayrton:

Daniella was amazing to work with as a complete beginner to the acting world and the process of getting headshots. She really took the time to listen and try to understand me, and what I wanted out of this process. She was extremely generous with her time and worked collaboratively with me to get an outcome we were both happy with. Overall a great experience!

The incredibly multi-talented (aka my amazing husband)

Truly, this amazing man has been an actor for well over 2 decades. With countless commercials, tv shows, independent feature films and more. He has also worked as a casting director in Cape Town for many years, working with big brands and shows.

Not only is he a talented actor/creative/amazing human, he is also a screenwriter with so many amazing ideas! Just need to get them onto the screen!

Soon we will be doing an updated headshot shoot, but I wanted to share some fun branding shots!
