The heatwave that has impacted most of south-east Australia over the past week is expected to linger until at least Sunday. 🥵
For many outback NSW communities this will mean eight continuous days of over 45 degrees and record high temperatures.
For these shearers at Quondong Station in South Australia, three hours south of Broken Hill, the heat of 50 degrees in the sheds has been an obstacle they’ve had to endure. 🤠
After a quick break, Sam Bacon and his team cracked on to get the 8,500 head shorn. 🐑
