The last time I photographed the Elliotts, they were waiting for their littlest love to join them. This time, I got to photograph them as a beautiful family of four 🥹

And if the thought of family photos with little kids makes you nervous… honestly, don’t be.

They don’t need to stand still or smile perfectly at the camera. We’ll play, explore, splash through the water, collect sticks and climb trees. We’ll keep moving, let them be little and have plenty of fun along the way.

Of course I want to create beautiful photos for you, but more than that, I want them to actually feel like your family. A little imperfect, full of movement and full of love.

Because one day, when your little two-year-old is all grown up and looks back at these photos, I want them to see what their childhood felt like not just what it looked like.

Every year I want to gift one family a storytelling session because everyone deserves to have these precious memories with their loved ones.

They may be going through a hard season or never had family photos before, maybe welcoming a new baby or just because they care for others and simply put everyone first !

*The chosen family must be happy for me to share a handful of images from our session .

I feel so incredibly lucky to have photographed this beautiful family for the second time — this time welcoming their gorgeous new little addition into the world.

These are the seasons of life that pass in a blur… tiny newborn cuddles, toddler giggles, little hands reaching for mum and dad. The beautifully ordinary moments that somehow become the most important memories of all.

At-home family sessions will always hold such a special place in my heart. There’s something so meaningful about documenting a family exactly as they are, in the place their memories are being made every day ✨
