It’s okay to start small. 📸

A bit of food for thought before you book that next big shoot.

Some of my clients come to me every month for a small shoot. Just a handful of images. That’s it.

And it gives them everything they need. Fresh social media content, new imagery for their website, and something to show off whenever they launch a new product.

No big production. No massive brief. Just a regular, simple shoot that keeps their brand looking current.

People often ask how long it takes to get the shot - and honestly, the answer is never the same twice.

Sometimes I might nail it in under 20 mins. The lighting is perfect and the composition is quick and easy.

Other times? We’re talking hours. Adjusting the light. Rebuilding a balancing act that keeps toppling the second I step away - with multiple props holding things in place that you’ll never even see, because they get retouched out entirely. 🪄

Let me give you a little insight - that little stone sphere and travertine piece didn’t just sit there obediently. 😅

This is also why pricing is never straightforward - because no two shoots are the same. Every project has its own scope, its own challenges, its own time. That’s exactly why everything is custom-quoted rather than pulled from a price list.

Because if it were that simple, it probably wouldn’t look like this. 🌿

When your visuals work well together - similar tones, similar feel, similar energy - people notice.

White backgrounds are great for consistency and e-commerce - but they’re not the only way to create clean, professional imagery.

Thoughtful coloured backgrounds can:
• elevate your brand identity
• add depth without distraction

• still feel polished and premium
