I've had a clear dream since I was fourteen to become a professional photographer and retoucher, after being inspired by magazines, books and Photoshop from a young age, and being brought up in a creative family. Through high school I started gathering, researching and practising with my little compact Canon digital camera - photographing my friends and family for fun, dressing them up and making
them do silly things - which all seemed so "cool" back then. After focussing on and loving my photography classes through VCE, I knew photographing people was definitely what I wanted to pursue as my career. And now, 4 years down the track - with a Diploma of Photoimaging, years of work experience, and National Photography Awards in my hands, including the title of the AIPP's Australian Student Photographer of the Year in 2014 - I am so proud to say that I made it here to this point, with my own motivation and passion. And I could not be happier! The service that I provide is very personal and down to earth. I feel that getting to know the person and their vision before we even begin planning the shoot day is very important - to ensure that I capture a bit about who you are, your personality as an individual, and exactly what you want to show and represent. Providing this kind of service has always resulted in my customers walking away feeling amazing and happy with the finished overall experience and the finished product - which is exactly what I strive for. You don't need to be a professional model to have a photoshoot done, either! I have worked with lots of first timers and everyday people, just wanting to feel beautiful and to do something for themselves, or the partners - so you can feel at ease knowing that I can provide you with friendly advice and guidance through the whole experience, from start to finish.
