Croydon Camera House are running a black and white film photography workshop on June 20. If you've ever wanted to shoot and delveop your own film, this is an excellent chance to do so. At $95.55, including 1 roll of film, it's also great value.

May 2026 Calendar of Events
Monthly Competition theme - Autumn

We have some great events coming up in May and we're inviting you to come along and see who we are, what we do and how we do it!

May 2 - Monthly member outing - Autumn photography at Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens
We're getting out and about to photograph the best of autumn in the Dandenong Ranges.
10am start, Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens

May 7 - Educational night - Club member Linda Scanlon shares her knowledge on flash photography, including external and off-camera flash.
7pm start, $3 members / $5 non-members

May 14 - Creatives - Data Projector photography
We're getting creative with our fabulous new photo quality data projector.
6:30pm start, $5 members / $10 non-members

May 28 - Judging night - Autumn
Our theme this month is Autumn. Come along and see what our group members have entered, vote for your favourites, and get some inspiration for your own photography.
7pm start, $3 members / $5 non-members

We'd love to have you come along and see what Casey Camera Club is all about. Club rooms are located at the portable buildings in the Merinda Park Learning & Community Centre. Photographers of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and remember, each week's entry fee includes a snack and drink.

The Casey Camera Club team photographed the Berwick ANZAC service last Saturday and paid our respects to servicemen and women past and present. Lest we forget.

Our next member outing is Saturday May 2 when we'll be exploring the Dandenong Ranges botanic gardens. Not yet a member? No problem - come join us this coming Thursday evening at our monthly competition night with our April theme 'Easter'.

What happens at Casey Camera Club?

- We learn from each other and from guest photographers
- We improve our photography skills at innovative and novel creative nights
- We show off our creativity with monthly themed photo competitions
- We go on excursions and weekends away

In short, we have a great deal of fun indulging our mutual love of photography!

Casey Camera Club is looking for new members. We meet on Thursday nights at Lynbrook Family & Community Centre and our current member base extends from teens to seniors and covers all levels of photography expertise from beginners to professionals. We'd love to have you join us!

Casey Camera Club explored all things Easter on their April creative night. Members had a great time with bunnies, hot cross buns, and (of course) eggs!

What's on at Casey Camera Club? - April edition

We've got some great events coming up in April, including a member's outing to the Berwick ANZAC day parade & service, an Easter themed creative night, and this month's competition theme is also 'Easter'.

Thursday April 2 - Theory night - Understanding Light
Club member Linda shares her knowledge on Understanding light.
Thursday Apr 2, 7pm start. $3 members, $5 non-members - includes a snack and drink afterward

Thursday April 9 - Creative Night - Out and About
We're getting creative with our exploring still life composition with an Easter theme. We're challenging our members to explore a treasure trove of props and arrange their own still life compositions.
We'd love to have some new members on board, so come along and have a play! Not sure if you know enough about your camera yet? No problem - every creatives session features 'Learners corner' with a more experienced member ready and waiting to help you get the most from your night.
Thursday Apr 9, 6:30pm start. Cost is $5 for members or $10 for non-members, including a snack & drink.

Sunday April 25 - Member's Outing - Berwick Anzac Parade
Casey Camera Club will be exploring street photography at this year's ANZAC parade in Berwick.
Not yet a member? No problem - we'd love to have you join the club and then come and join us on our monthly outings!
