Motherhood has a funny way of making you wish time would slow down.
One minute you’re counting down the weeks until you meet your baby, and the next you’re wondering how the little people wrapped around your legs got so big.
Would you believe these were taken after school… and there were a couple of meltdowns? 😆 Looking through these photos now, you’d never know.
That’s the thing about family sessions—they don’t have to be perfect. Kids don’t need to smile on cue, sit still, or have endless patience after a big day.
Some of my favourite moments happen in between the chaos. The cuddles after the tears, the giggles after a little reset, tiny hands reaching for Mum’s growing bump, and sisters pulling silly faces just because they can.
Those aren’t the moments I try to avoid—they’re the moments I hope to capture.
Because one day, these photos won’t just remind them what they looked like. They’ll remind them exactly how this season of life felt. 🤎
