Stay tuned for an exciting aspect to our local history.

We think the name gives it away, however....... its more than you think!

Thank you to everyone who picked the logo.

Russell Edmunds took up the challenge of our comment of "happy to see any different design" and with thanks to Russell Edmunds Photography and Imaging the has a new LOGO.

I've no idea what my great-great grandfather looked like.

Or what his aspirations were, or how eerily familiar his mannerisms were to mine.

Would I tread my path differently if I knew how similar we were and what path he'd taken?

I don't have access to hours of video footage, or pictures of him, of pages of his thoughts and musings.

But our great-great-great children will have access to ours. They'll be able to live vicariously through our pictures, and videos, and updates.

This is the first time in the whole of mankind's history people will have a genuine insight into their distant ancestors.

And they'll be surprised at how similar and familiar we were to themselves.

How much of a difference will it make to them when they see how our dreams were exactly the same as theirs?

For this reason and for many others this Our Rockingham and Kwinana History page has been created.
