🎅❤️ After 8 magical years, it's time to say goodbye. ❤️🎅
This is a post I never imagined having to write.
After much thought and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to bring my involvement with the annual Santa Photos fundraiser at the Coolangatta Surf Club to an end.
For the past eight years, Cooly Santa Photos has been so much more than a fundraiser. It became a Christmas tradition that I looked forward to every year, and I have been incredibly fortunate to watch families grow, meet new babies, and welcome back familiar faces season after season.
Being trusted to capture those special Christmas memories has been one of the greatest privileges to volunteer for.
To every family who stood in front of my camera, thank you. Thank you for your support, your loyalty, and for making Santa Photos part of your Christmas traditions. You are the reason this event became something so special.
A huge thank you also goes to the amazing volunteers and everyone at the Coolangatta Surf Club who helped make this event possible over the years. Together, we created something that brought so much joy to our community.
While my chapter with Cooly Santa Photos has come to an end, this doesn't necessarily mean the end of Christmas fundraising at the Surf Club.
I sincerely hope the community continues to support any future Christmas fundraising initiatives the Club may choose to offer.
Although this goodbye is bittersweet, I leave with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for eight unforgettable years of smiles, laughter, Christmas magic, and memories that will last a lifetime.
